We are looking for a thoughtful individual to join our small team, who has a positive attitude with a strong interest in style and fashion. This is a role for someone who is a people person who is detail oriented, proficient in written communication, organized and wants to contribute to the success of the Michelle Ross brand.
As a Studio and Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for exceptional customer service, processing & fulfilling orders, shipping, keeping track of inventory, quality control and contributing to content for social media.
CUSTOMER & STORE RELATIONS
-Labelling and packaging orders with care
-Responding to e-mails and phone messages, addressing customer and store inquiries with care
-Greeting in-store customers in a way that feels warm and considered
-Developing and cultivating strong relationships with both customers and wholesale accounts through one-on-one interactions whether in person or online.
-Helping to style clients thoughtfully, drawing on knowledge of our materials and of how pieces are made
-Wholesale account management, including invoicing, following up on payments and store requests (such as photos, support materials, etc.)
STUDIO TASKS
-Performing store opening and closing tasks
-Maintaining general organization and cleanliness of studio space
-Representing our brand with professionalism, warmth, and a deep knowledge of our products
-Developing a deep understanding of our product range
MARKETING & ONLINE MANAGEMENT
-Ensuring website stock is up-to-date
-Upon request, assistance with newsletter and website management
-Helping to create content for social channels and email campaigns
-assist in product photography
-Liaising with stylists regarding “stylist pulls” from the Michelle Ross collections
-Seeking out appropriate press opportunities
ADMINISTRATIVE
-Supporting bookkeeper by providing receipts and reports as needed
-Miscellaneous administrative tasks
-Running errands in the Toronto downtown core
QUALIFICATIONS
-Previous retail/sales management or related experience
-Fashion and communications background
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-Highly organized and capable of multitasking
-Comfortable using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
-Experience with Shopify (an asset)
-Self-motivated and proactive
-Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
-A love for jewellery, fashion and style
-Interested in independent retail
-Community minded
